We can meet you at The Hive Cafe or pick you up at your hotel. After meeting up we start with a visit to a local produce market where you experience the energy of the local people doing business, shopping and buying food.
Experience the amazing variety of locally produced fresh vegetables, fruits and so much more.
Touring the food stalls, our chef spends a time with you talking about the how the produce is used for cooking and the many other uses of the interesting herbs, seasonal fruits and vegetables you see on display.
We return to our class to cut, chop, mix and stir your your way through 3 Khmer traditional dishes.
Some that we try are
• Fresh aromatic Banana Flower Salad
• Creamy Fish Amok with a rice pyramid
Others are based on what is in season.
*Vegetarians are catered for if the Chef is advised prior to the class
Meet up for the class at 10.00 am, finishes around 1 pm.
Cooking Class is $35 2 or more per person
One person $45
*We can find a guide to translate if required (a fee applies).
